Some guy on here lifted his P38 and posted it here on DWeb. If I find the link, I'll post it. His lift included OME springs and other stuff. It looks real good, and he took it on some off road trips and said it did really well. Run a google search on LIFTED P38 and I am sure you can find it easily.

Mr. Pugsly has a lifted P38 but I seriously doubt you want to deal with his arrogance ... but it may get you answers. Is the p38 your brothers?

A lot of us lifted our P38's with coils. Lifting them is not a problem. Getting Rovertym to make products for P38's is. I guess maybe there isn't a market for it. But after seeing some of the pinheads who drive P38's these days, I shouldn't be surprised.

if you use LR spring perches, which most conversion kits do, any spring should fit. i know for a fact RTE, OME, and OEM fit. Dont see why big blues wouldnt fit either. i am in the process of converting my 00 4.6 to coils

Steve at RTE will try anything, but often he needs to use a vehicle for a week or two to mock against. If anyone with a 38 lives in Richmond, that might move things along. When I asked him about Defender stuff, that was his response.

I have been at the shop when prototype "mock up" activities were going, so I know it can be done.:patriot:

I emailed Rovertym twice about getting some springs etc for my P38 with not even a response. Screw em, I'll get some OME and jack it up.

I talked to someone at Rovertym (not Steve) and he said he had springs. Medium up front and heavy in the rear.

I just picked up a 1999 HSE and want to do a spring conversion since the truck is resting on its bump stops.
I have some OME 3" springs that I was thinking of using and i also have some stock springs from a 1997 defender i could use.

I'll let you know how it works out.

Also check out www.rockrover.com/ he has a good write up on the conversion.
