RRC Sunroof Drain...

A few days ago I noticed water collecting on the floor boards of my 1992 RR. I traced the water leak to the sunroof and figured a clogged drain was not letting water out of the collection channel where it was pooling and dripping out. I tried to unclog the hose, with no success, after running compressed air thru it, it finally busted. I have since been trying to remove the hose from the A pillar, but it seems like the whole pillar is filled with expanding foam. Have any of you tried to replace a front sunroof drain? would heating the pillar help loosen up the foam? or should I just reroute a new drain or "T" to the one on the driver side?
thank you;

I tried to fish the new tubing thru the existing hole, but it just didn't ant to go... So I drilled a new hole just above the old one and ran the new tubing inside the a pillar trim piece...

Used a section of old tubing to connect to the drain pan.

I cut out all the rusted metal (didn't get a picture of that...) and welded new sheet metal in place welds are not the prettiest, but they hold...

Then sealed the joins with tar. Once it dries ill cover the whole thing with bed liner...
