Special thanks go out to RTE for the protection there rear bumper provided me yesterday when I stopped on the road for a school bus, when a F-350 that had slowed from about 60mph to 35-40mph and struck me in the rear and drove me about 20' from the inpact area, bumper made out with a small sratch on the bottom and a slight bend to the tow hitch when the truck went under mine (how? I have no idea  ) The F-350 was towed away and I drove home just fine :bigok: I am just a little sore from the seat belt. Thanks! Steve

Although it was a few years ago, I was sitting with my (then) fiance' at a light here in Sacramento when a yota Sienna (9 months old) rear ended me @ 30-40MPH. We were in my '92 LSE RRC. Pushed me about 15' further into the intersection. I drove away, his engine went into the interior. Rover --- 1, Toyota --- 0

But did tweak the frame/body. Door gaps are "variable", but open and close great. Even the lift gate works fine. But like Steve, we were a little sore. Spent 2 weeks in Hawaii a little less "active" than we wanted.

Like D Chapman said, looking at either building a trail rig/dredge hauler or using bits on a '95 LWB if I can find one priced well.

Well Dan you were right! When I got the rover out of the shop for the transfer case "leak", the new transfer case they installed did come with the CDL nipple! (can you say nipple on here?)
