I need an air pump for my 2004. There are 2 part numbers for this.
The wib100030 listed for 99-02 and the WIB000060 listed for the 03-04.
What is the actual difference in these pumps other than the about $100 difference and more readily available wib100030?
Also, I may have a much cheaper alternative to the expensive check valves but I need an air pump first to confirm.

Pictures of the '03-'04 PN (as a new part) show it with the mounting bracket, which seems to be the only visible difference. I have 2 '04's and they both have the 030 part number on the end cap next to the electrical connector and they work fine.

That's kind of what i suspected. I ordered a rebuild from http://www.rebuiltairpump.com/.
I also sourced Volvo check valves that are about $150 cheaper than the Rover counterpart. The only difference is the clocking of the vacuum nipple.

I took my last one apart and rebuilt it. If one of the vacuum operated valves fail to close all the way the pump fills up with condensation and the bearings rust. I sourced new ones and cleaned the brushes and got a couple more years out of it. Those rebuilds are a decent price and probably more reliable than from a wrecking yard.

Installed the air pump and Volvo check valves today. Cleared my codes and so far no light. I had to add a 6" section of tube to the right side since the valves are clocked different.
If this works it will significantly reduce the price since the Volvo valves are about $60 a piece and the Rovers valves are well above $100.
There is an alternative parts thread some where where I will have Chris add the numbers.
