Thanks to Steve and Dan for making the trip plus the donations from Rovertym and Dan.

I hope everybody had a great time, the weather was damn near perfect, great turnout!

I think we had around 70-80 trucks and ~100-110 attendees, will get the final count later. Heres a group pic taken with my crappy camera - I think a few people missed the pic and we had a few roll in after it was taken, but we had a journalist from Land Rover World who was covering the event will get us the good picture she took from the elevated point. A couple of other pics, note the driver of the defender is blindfolded - we had a short trail setup with timed runs with a blindfolded driver relying on the navigator, these guys were the winner - 4 minutes, compared to 1:30 for a normal driver....not bad!!!

All joking aside - SCARR was awesome fun - the Texas Rovers rock and are an absolute blast! The trails were great (really dusty) but loads of fun, and Tami and her LR3 were very impressive!!!!I left my camera at home but Chappy and Cvc got some great pics! I have to go wash my Disco back to black from the nice hue of red it is right now! :p

I'll get pics resized and loaded to my site soon. I've got about 400 or 500 to weed through.

A big thanks from all the South Texas Rovers members. Everyone had a great time and as usual, thanks to "chef" for the lobsters, prime rib, and kobe beef hamburgers. As always we bring too much food and love to have rover enthusiasts stumble by our campsite. The trails were pretty rutted out this years making for some interesting obstacles in the 4 diamonds. Even though I am moving to Cali next month, I am flying down next year for the Texas' best rover event.

Someone post some pics of the harder trails! I was unable to see them while I was there.
