Hey guys,
Got a couple of questions about selling the Rover and realistically what it's worth. I know if I sell to a dealer, I'll get lowballed since they wouldn't know a Rover upgrade if they pulled it out their ass. But, can yall give me a ballpark what I'm looking at if I sell privately or to someone who can appreciate it?

2004 DII SE7 Dark Green outside, Tan inside.
120,000 on Odometer
RTE 2" Lift w/ OME (nets 2.5")
BFG AT KO 265/75R16 Tires on Factory Rims
RTE Sliders w/ nerfs
RTE Gas Skid
RTE Rear with nerfs
RTE HD Trailing Arm and Steering Linkage
Qt Diff Guards Front and Rear
Rear Ladder
Rear Step (Bonus! Still works!)
Britparts Waterproof seat covers (covered the vehicle since I've had it, seats are in awesome condition)
AVIC-N3 XM Satellite Navigation with XM Traffic and iPod Connection
Still has rear seats
Cargo area Cover
Heavy duty floor mats
Windows have been re-tinted up tot he legal limit
Front Driveshaft rebuilt
Diehard Platinum Battery (replaced 6 mos ago)
No leaks from oil, xfer case, transmission, or diffs

What's been replaced already:
Front driveshaft
ABS Modulator
Both Idler Pulleys
Belt Tensioner Assembly
All Oxygen Sensors
All Fluids at 60k, and 90k
Plugs and wires (running NGK Coppers and Kingsborne 8mm)
AC Blower Motor
Throttle Body Preheater Gasket x2
Coolant Resevoir
All upper hoses
Valve Cover Gaskets
Plenum Gasket
Lifters and heads checked at 60k, no issues
All maintenance has been done on time and all fluids replaced with Synthetics
Motor mounts replaced

Issues:
Front bumper has crack on drivers side
Radiator has small antifreeze leak I need to plug
Small chip in windshield serviced by SafeLite Auto Glass locally.
AC Blower Motor is currently being run by manual switch, need to replace switch on back of environment control for the fan speed controller to get it back to work.

So what am I really looking at? What's a fair price for a good condition 2004 with upgrades and meticulous maintenance worth these days?

-Brian.

I came up with $9,365 excellent condition KBB for a zip code in San Antonio and I added $500 for the suspension, tires, and RTE stuff.

Nice truck, why are you selling?

Honestly, I never really wanted to say I would sell it.

But, it's something that our needs are becoming more and more that I need a truck. I owe a little bit more on the Rover and then it's paid. There's a guy here at work selling an 07 F-250 Diesel with 60k on it that would be perfect for what I need and he's asking a reasonable price.

I really do like the Rover, but when I take into account what I would like to replace on it versus how little I've driven it in the past couple of months, I'm just not finding I have any more time to work on it or enjoy it. Smaller things like replacing a water pump, radiator, or exhaust gaskets down the road sound fun, but I just dont have the time with work and family like I used to. She's the 2nd one I have owned and I did all the upgrades on her myself, so I know the meticulous nature I have when it comes to making sure everything I do to her is done right the first time and done correctly.

As much as I would love to hold on to it, my needs have just changed. It's a rough decision I'm coming to. If I take it into a dealer, I'll get raped on price. No doubt.

I'd rather sell it to someone who will love the hell out of it and use it for what it is intended to be used for which is one heck of an awesome daily driver as well as upmostly capable offroad vehicle.

You will absolutely love that F250.....but as stated be very careful of the 6.0. Did he do the EGR delete yet? If not get one right away from Sinister Fab.

I've been told the 6.0 ltr motor is junk....

My buddy just sold his 04 with 63K for 12K with no upgrades other than NAV delete and better stereo install. But we are all nuts on the West coast and have so much money we just don't care.
