75- I did cut the carpet, and bench ran the pump. And when it's running, in the car, no fuel on the motor side. Gonna look for kinks.
Yes this does sound ckps related... However I just put a new one in, and I have continuity all the way to the ecu... Going to try and test signal, but for now I know the wires make it

a D2 is not a P38 nor is it a freelander nor is it a D1, etc. just because they are rovers does not make them the same. Some are similar mechanically but they are all the same in that they are headaches!

I assume fuel squirts out like a horse pissing and not flowing like a 90 year olds prostate.

Only blockage could be at the flexible portion where it connects to the fuel rail. You would have to remove the upper plenum to remove that line.

No you don't, there is no reference voltage for the CkPS, it generates its own voltage. It CAN be tested with a voltmeter by waving a magnet past the probe.


Cut the carpet? What the fuck kinda butcher are you? Hows about you pull up the trim across the back of the loadspace and roll the carpet back to expose the hatch?

If one of the documents said one thing and the rest something else, I'd suspect the documentation but when I read everything we have provided, I'm of the opinion the pump might run when the key is first turned on, but I don't have a DII handy inside the tool truck!

But before removing things that may be unnecessary did you watch tps while actuating the pedal? That way you know your scanner is actually reading things properly.
