Just changed pads/rotors a week ago. . (thanks to other post on this forum). No real challenge, all went well. Then a Few days after, Steering wheel began shaking left and right rapidly only when braking. More violently at 60-70 mph. Almost imperceptible under 30 mph. Seems worse after heated. Did not happen prior to new rotors/pads.
I believe I improperly bedded pads. Would uneven pad deposits create such a bad steering shake? Pulled all new components back off to inspect. Everything seems in proper form. Should I get these brand new rotors turned to remove possible pad deposits?
Any other suggestions? Again. There was no issue prior to one week ago when I installed new pads/ rotors.
Thanks.
