So I'm looking at a two small cars (914s) in Wyoming. If I buy them, I need to get them shipped to Alabama. Does anyone have recommendations? Speed is nice, but it's not as important as price.

Thanks!

Every time I've been quoted on shipping a car, it always seems to hover somewhere in the area of 1000.00 per car if it's going any distance.

nice find. owned a 1971 914-6 at one time. very cool vehicles. lived in PA at the time and the salt really took its toll - almost as bad as on a RRC.

good luck with your quest.

sorry can't help with a shipper as it has been awhile since I've shipped my Rovers.

my buddy works for Plycar, they do very good work. They deal in high-end/exotics most of the time. No idea what the price would be.

Thanks. I submitted my UShip information last night, waiting on auction results now. Both 914s run. I got a great quote on them. They need work, but if I had to, I think I could recoup my money. Probably 2-3k a piece for cosmetics. Looking at PlyCar now.

914's used to be the bastard child of the Porsche world. Lately they're starting to slowly gain in popularity and value.....slowly. The 914/6 has and will always be THE one to have. (And their price reflects that. A 914/6 GT-bodied car is fantastic looking!)

The long-hood/SWB cars are pushing EVERY Porsche up in value. (Except for 928's.)

I know they have a bad rep due to that damn tv series but I have used uship with no real problems. I got an SSE p38 from L.A. to Kentucky for a grand and my d2 from Utah to Kentucky for 800

Filed with Reliable Carriers too.

Both of these are 1971 year model. (I was born in 1971, and I've been looking for a while.)
