So you've heard of the ECR beach runner? Here's the black fly hooptie beach runner

Is that an ECR build?

Yeah, I had to look twice but then I decided...it was not.

Are you concerned about rollover protection? Any plans for a roll bar or small cage?
And do you have a net to retard the black fly penetration into the cabin area?

That's actually not bad looking at all. Throw a cage in and call it good!

Yep, I would just make something for driver/passenger protection...screw the backseaters!
Maybe one of those double bars, chrome plated, with some KC Daylighters on top??:D

Let's just say if I put a cage in..... It would have to be bolted and welded DIRECTLY to the frame.... The body doesn't have much left. Ha

It's a fair weather island toy and I don't care about roll over protection really. It's like an old school bronco or scout, if you roll you're done. Drive it as such.

I doubt it will be on the road long anyway. As soon as someone wants a major part off it - it will be parted out. It was just a fun trial. :)

Oh and no it's not an ECR build.

BFH (black fly hoopties) build. Our builds involve big fawking hammers (as the BFH may imply) and sawsall's. Also typically involve duct tape, fiberglass resin and heavy undercoating. Ha ha ha

Fiberboard? Surely you jest. Doug is a boat builder. His brightwork is impeccable. It will be from Honduras( not the African garbage you get now) mahogany. With several layers of Epiphanes. Doug is not a hacker.

Okay Doug, I went pretty heavy. I want. 15% commission.
