I recently got rid of the watts link in the rear of my D2 and added a panhard and its awesome. The added articulation is ridiculous and i need retainers and cones. I fabed up some lower retainers myself and fitted the Terra Firma D1 upper cones to my truck. They work great and I am happy. and yes...my ABS sensors are long enough. Now....please go all "dweb" on this post and make it one to remember....

Where's the brake hardline retaining clip? Did you reinforce the frame rail where the upper mount is located?

You will get more consistent rear spring re-seating if you retain the top and free the bottom. Looking at one of the pics, the spring is about to go sideways once it gets below the retainer.

Ditto. Short pointy cones at the bottom will offer your best chance of consistent reseating.

That was my write-up/disco, that setup worked great for years, never had to replace either heim after years of salty winters and trails. I do recommend going outboard of the spring

OMG, a heim joint that lasted thru a northern winter...WTF, you are lying thru your teeth...heim joints suck, they dont last and will cause you to kill a bus load of nuns driving back from feeding lost puppies and kittens at the homeless childs shelter
