Ok, found one of the threaded connectors in the top of the '94 disco steering box loose and leaking yesterday.

I've looked back for Alex's issue with what I recall to be a similar leak in his hydro-converted box ... haven't found any new info.

I've tightened the fitting and it doesn't leak sitting in the garage, but i'm sure it will loosen up again.

I imagine I'll need to take it out, clean off the fluid, locktite it, and re-tighten.

I'm dreading the mess of the Dexron on the floor, but it doesn't look like rocket science, eh?

I had a similar problem not too long ago. The (temp) fix was new pipe clamps on the hosed to and from the res. The pressure line was in ok shape but replaced it. Hope this helps.

The permanent fix is to keep topping it up with ATF for the duration of vehicle ownership :)

That's what I did...until the leaking ATF softened the year-old panhard rod bushing below and I had to replace it - again.

I just swapped out all the hoses and that has cured the leaks - for now....

Cheers
