Is this thing Made in US?

Like every little electronic widget, I'm sure it was made in the People's Republic.

Just like almost everything else for sale at Harbor Freight.

Related question: Is the Actron Super AutoScanner worth the $200 vs the Pocket ($40). The Super collects real time data, which I understand can help in diagnostics, but how much help is that data? Worth the extra $$?

Picked up 2 at HF yesterday.. they had them in a glass case in the front of the store... was marked at $79.99, but after loading up the page on my phone and showing her the discounted price, she gave it to us at that cost.. like was said above, print out the ad before you go.

Worked fine.. read the codes off of a 99 D2 and cleared them without an issue..

I bought the Innova 3030 from Walmart for $79.99 about a year ago. I see it on sale frequently at Checker for $69.99. It lets you delete OBDII codes. I have used it on a 99 D2 (frequently), 3 different Toyotas, a Ford F-150, Ford Explorer, and one other vehicle I cannot recall at the moment, and it worked great on all of them. My D2 really liked to yell misfire PO305 and PO306 (and PO300 multiple misfire).

Here's the link to the information on checker's website:

Im not buying shit unless it communicates with SLABS and can reset engine/transmission adaptive values.

A while back, I'm not sure whether it was in dweb or not, a group was working on figuring this out. If you had access to one of the simpler modules, like a rovacom, where a single module controls it, it wouldn't be terribly difficult to reverse engineer.

I have access to a Launch at work that does what I require. Whats even easier than reverse engineering it is just using it.

How much RAM does the OBD have? If I try to display the codes, and there are too many, will it crash?

I bought an OBD II scanner from E bay for 14.99 plus shipping and it reads codes then shuts off the lights. I typed OBD II into Ebay search and hundreds of different models popped up.

SO I was a bit bored this morning and going through old posts.

The link posted is for a drip irrigation system. I have learned not to question many work arounds on Dweb but this one had me scratching my head.

It wasnt until page 2 that I realized that this was for OBD readers.

Here is the refreshed link to OBD's at Harbor Freight

http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=obd

I am assuming that a drip irrigation system is not a standard fix for a Disco.
