Dan - I agree 100%. That's why when I speak to topics such as audio equipment, scuba diving or auto racing (to name a few)...I rely on my real world knowledge of these "hobbies". Such as collecting audio equipment since I was 16, or racing professionally in the SCCA, or spending countless hours at the track setting up race cars, or being liscensed as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, diving wrecks, deep dives, night dives and navigation dives with a compass.
There are a few where I consider myself an expert. But there are many others where I would not consider myself an expert, just very informed.

PADI---?!? "Pay And Dive Instantly"?!? "Liscensed?" Does that even qualify you to rent a tank?

Actually from the recent posts, it looks like storm are better in much more than merely the handle eh?

A lot of us said they were comparable in the beginning of the thread so don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

Looking at the pictures of the Stormcases vs. Pelican, to me it looks like the stormcase has a weaker attachment point for the handle then the Pelican.. However, the Stormcase looks to have the better latches and hinge..

I do have to say though, that I don't find the handle of my Pelicans uncomfortable when carry heavy loads in them.
