I saw this on the local Craigslist, when the ad first caem out the price was not listed so I emailed him. He told me he wanted $19.5 but would 'accept offers'.

I LOL'd

2002 P38 with 24k original miles, Needs paint, most plastic trim, grill etc, an interior sun damage repair.

ALL FOR THE BARGAIN PRICE OF $19.5!

I bet if that guy with a big ass banana with dreadlocks had $19.5 worth of life savings, and this POS was a carnival game prize, he would have spent it all trying to win it...

This is the email he sent back when I asked him how he was asking $12,000 over book.

"I go from the point of view. 'Try to find a P38 with less than 30.000 miles and see what the price for it would be'.

If I part the car I get 15.000 easily"

Haha, it looks like that point of view is his and his only. That POS P38 looks like a horny, haven't-been-laid-in-a-while, angry beaver had an orgy on the hood for a week straight.

These low mileage cars make me wonder from a practical stand point, if this were priced reasonably what sort of issue would you expect from a 11 year old truck with such low miles?

Seems to me you may have as many or more problems than with a rig with 150k miles? I would guess the head gaskets would likely be shot from corrosion, the seals and gaskets would be dry and need to be replaced, and so on.

Any other issues from a low mileage rig? Any experience from anyone who has bought something like this?

Curious how the sun has baked the paint, and dried the glue that holds the headliner, but the interior looks garaged kept. I would agree with PT, probably a lot of parts went in to making this illusion:)
