Steelers win by 6 over the Cards. Cards had a good run at the SB this year, but the Steelers deserve that 6th title.

you're only giving 6? Vegas has 6.5 points last I saw.

Pittsburgh. Without a doubt.

Their defense is outstanding, probably as dominant as the Steel Curtain. They probably have at least 2 future HOFers on that squad (Harrison, Palamalu) I heard all kinds of crap about how good the Ravens' D was. They didn't hold a candle to the Steelers. Fitzgerald may score, but Warner ain't gonna have time to wait for him to run 40 yards.

The Steelers offensive line has finally come together the last half of the season. Add to that Willie Parker being back and healthy, adds up to a good running game.

Roethlisberger is not quite it? What drugs are you on? He doesn't put up gaudy numbers like Brady or Manning(s), but that's because the offense isn't designed around the pass. He's an awesome quarterback. Shrugs off linebackers and makes plays (see Holmes' 65 TD score). He's accurate and can throw. The Ravens game would have been over at the half if the rookie Sweed hadn't dropped a perfect pass on the 10 yd line (thrown from the Ravens 40 by the way).

Here's Mike Wilbon's take on Roethlisberger:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/01/19/AR2009011900016.html

Sum it all up: An outstanding defense, a good running game that can control the clock and a quarterback that can make the deep pass and doesn't make mistakes equals a Super Bowl win.

One for the other thumb.

This coming from a raging Steelers fan. Shocking prediction.

Steelers Rock it! Having said that, Warner and Fitz can score points on ANY down, It'll be a good game either way...It would not break my heart if in fact the Cards pull it off.

Well I'm not drinking the same koolaid you and Wilbon are. We are talking about an inconsistent quarterback, having a mediocre year. He's rated 24 out of 32 with an 80.1, and 15 interceptions; and only a 45.6 against NFC teams. I'm saying that doesn't impress, no warm and fuzzy feeling going on here. Pittsburgh's defense is the reason they will win, if they do. I still give the Cards the edge in a close game, even though they looked like shit in that snow game in New England.

Cards won't run on the steelers. 1-D game means polamalu gets at least one pick and clark lays out breaston. Fitz and AQ each get 6 but the Cards get waxed in the 3rd quarter. Defense wins championships. I see parker having a big day and Ben gets a 2nd ring to flash at the haters. Steelers 27-17

Here we go steelers!

According to the MJ Morning Show egg test, the Steelers have it. In all the years he has done this stupid 'blowing up an egg in the microwave test' he's never been wrong.

Cards 31-30. Destiny rules. Even a blind turkey finds an acorn now and then. The Cards have been a scragglyassed turkey of a team for too many decades. This year they find an acorn.

Glory Days and Born to Run are a lock. Maybe radio nowhere and something off the new album.
