I think they should recall the old compressor and give them the updated. After four hours of driving I have no complaints. It stance is better than it was too. This one should have come factory. I want to find a normal LR3 about a year old to see if the height is any different, or if i'm just seeing things

I had to do 65 on the way back because thats the speed limit on the road I was off of, and it was rough.

Ummm, that's why it's called a speed LIMIT. As in the max, not min speed allowed for the road. What the hell do they teach kids in drivers ed now. I'm pretty sure LR has a posted never exceed speed for driving on the bumpstops. I think it was like 45 on the old solid axle EAS.

real funny. I know it seems ridiculous that I'm in high school and have an LR3 but trust me it wasn't all my choice, I would be happy with our old discovery, but my dad wanted side airbags and he thought P.38's were too top heavy.

Also I was 30 mins past the legal curfew so I had to make it back before the cops out here start pulling teenagers over. I know i was going to fast but the 65 PMH zone is only about 3 miles then it goes back to a 45mph zone were I drove that speed limit. And once you get into seaside it's about 25mph. So iwasn't going 65 the whole way.

What is wrong with you guys? If I can afford it when my daughter is 16, she gets an LR3. Big deal. My parents bought me a Firebird at 16, cause I thought that was the shit (that and my mullet). Anyway, glad to hear the car is back in biz. Get a keg and have a good time!!..my brother drowned in Panama City on SB, some doctor saved his life and he is still called "smurf" by close buddies.

Leave him alone. Someone dropped some of you people on your heads as children didn't they?

There are a lot of high school kids driving land rovers. there were about 6 of us in my senior calss of about 110 back in 2000. sure we coudl have bought our own cars, but they woudlnt have been as safe or "reliable" (well for the first couple weeks anyways) At least he takes his off-road. Who cares if hes dad/mom/gf/sugermama bought it for him. Also, there are curfews for new lisneced now in many states. i hate ignorant people.

thank you lostinboston and everyone else.
And thier is a fucking curfew for people my age in probaly every state, In TN it's 11PM and FL it's 12. I was offered the car for 6 months and kept turning it down because I want to keep the 03 discoII until Ronnie Reed convinced me to get one. Do yall think your really fucking funny because you can make jokes like let me get your pampers. What grown adult honestly say's that? And this "yeah, i'll bring the powdered milk, pansy. Sure kid, I bet the cops are after you because you're out past some imaginary curfew that exists solely in your fat head." what is your fucking problem, just because my dad has money doesn't make me some stuck up like pansy .

Glad its fixed Ben, also glad you take the new rover off road, also glad you stuck with Land Rover.

.....and I am jealous, cause i have a 97 D1, but would have chosen a 110 and had side airbags installed!!!

atleast you didn't pick the new land cruiser!!!!

Ben, glad to hear you got the truck back so fast! With my luck, it would have been days!!

Oh, and I remember being pulled over in high school for being out past curfew....I had an old Mercedes diesel and the cop kept me on the side of the road for so long (said their computers were down, was trying to check my license but I'd never been pulled over before!) that my car started overheating!! Then I was REALLY late getting home! They used to spot the high school parking tags in our cars and watch for us. Not that it's a bad thing, but I think i was going 4mph over the speed limit!!

Have fun in FL and just ignore the other jerks on here!
