Any interest? I have three of these and all have been wiped then new operating system and drivers installed. They are 1.1-GHz Pentium CPU?s, 512MB DDR 333 SDRAM, 20GB hard drive, 12.1-inch XGA screen, Bluetooth, and 802.11b/g wireless. They will come with stand, power supply, hard cover, all software, and the stylus. I am looking for $350 shipped to the lower 48 states. PM me with questions.

To try to answer some of the questions I?ve gotten:
  • They do have a valid Windows XP license
  • They will come with original software and drivers preloaded with current Microsoft patches and updates
  • No key board or mouse as any USB keyboard and mouse will work
  • No known issues, they were rotated out of service and were working flawlessly.
  • Price includes shipping. to the lower 48 states.

How's battery life? Looking for an e-mail machine for a grandmother to use. Never really thought of a tablet, but it may actually be a lot easier for her. Never used XP tablet, does it have a virtual keyboard?

Battery life is over an hour but depends on usage. Comes with an charger/AC adapter which you can leave hooked up as a stand alone PC. Yes it has a touch screen keyboard that you use the "pen" on. you can also connect any USB mouse and keyboard to it. It has two USB ports on the bottom.

Is the pen required for use? or can you use your finger?

What is the physical outer dimension?

Do they have a PCMCIA (PCCard) slot?

Interested if small enough and have PCMCIA slot.

11.7 x 9.6 x 0.9 inches

Yes, one PCMCIA slot. Picture 3 in the second set of pictures will show the location.

Those'll make for a kick-ass GPS setup. No more bugged out eyes trying to read a tiny LCD screen...

Interesting thought... I may need 2 of them then! :D

What program would you use on a PC for GPS? I've got MS MapPoint which works to some extent, but isn't great for actual drive-time directions... Is there something better?
