Interesting thought... I may need 2 of them then! :D

What program would you use on a PC for GPS? I've got MS MapPoint which works to some extent, but isn't great for actual drive-time directions... Is there something better?

Garmin has nRoute, which uses their mapping software to plan routes and turn-by-turn directions. It's free. Just need a GPS. TomTom has software that runs on WindowsMobile. Doens't help with the tablets here, but I plan to test it with a viewsonic airpanel.

Best Buy just had MS Streets and Trips 2008 for $50 with a GPS. Using it on a Dell. It's not the best, but it was $50. Sure neats NAV on the phone. You think reading a car GPS screen is bad, try reading a phone.
Downloading nroute now, thanks for the link, I'll try it out.

I never considered buying a tablet before reading this thread, now I can't see how I'm living without one. If these are still around in a month or so I'll probably be interested.
