TC/ABS Noise

Hi all,

I picked up an 04 Disco II in June. I'm concerned about the amount of noise that's coming from (I assume) the brake modulator when using the ABS, TC or HDC. Is noise from the modulator common?

Yes it's normal... a loud buzzing sound is normal..

Thanks for your response! Love this board Anyway, it's more than a loud buzzing noise - more of a hydraulic noise.

:banghead: I just realized the modulator is the highest point in the brake system..if there were air in there would it not settle in the modulator? I swapped all the fluids after I bought it. I'll bleed the brakes again once the world thaws out and see if that could be it.
