Well the folks at AEV are trying to get Jeep back into the military with the J8. Offered in the hemi and turbo diesel. I like it. Things didn't work out initially, but AEV has taken over the project and buying the complete bodies from the folks in Egypt and shipping them to the US.

Yeah, I liked the "blend in" approach more, although it was iffy at times in soft skin sedans in Baghdad...

The Cruisers are definatley better at blending in. The Excursions stick out like a sore thumb. If you really want to blend in roll around in a white toyota corolla:smilelol: They are everywhere and I'm convinced the Afghans can drive them over shit that would break most 4x4s.
