I have to confess that I could get used to it; especially with as a diesel.

Time kinda heals all wounds. I remember not liking the LR3 and now I love seeing them on the trail. I'm sure in a few years we'll have solid axle builds of the new Disco. But until then I'm going to remain a grumpy old man

I do not think time will heal the wounds caused by the new discovery line-up. They are not unique looking. Six years from now they will be selling cheap because of the standard maintenance costs and electrical problems. Nobody(die hard brand fans who want to look adventurous) will buy them because they don't even look cool.
