The sores are from "Meth bugs". They think they are covered with bugs and start scratching them off. That drug has really take off here in South Ga because of the abundance of the ingredients. Users will tell you it's the first high that hooks you. The drug causes the brain to over produce dopamine (I think) that gives you a high that can't be reproduced again no matter how much you take or what you do. So the users spend the rest of their lives looking for that high.

A friend of mine who is a psychologist (might be a psychiatrist, come to think of it) tells me that the only way to get folks to quit doing hard drugs is for them to decide to change their behavior.
I have a number of people who used to be my friends for whom the lure of cocaine was strong enough that four trips to prison haven't been enough to convince them of the error of their thinking. Sadly, their comes a point where it no longer matters how close that person was to you at one time, there inability to learn and grow as they age makes it impossible for me to continue to associate with them-that and my fears that they would eventually steal from me.
My wife and I often lecture our "adopted" children on the dangers of white drugs. Some things in life are revelatory and other illusory. I want things revealed to me, not hidden further from me.

there are good drugs, and bad drugs, and when bad people do good drugs they can still have bad outcomes
there have been a few Santana shows I've tripped balls on with shroom tea, and have energed a better person, know wha ah mean?
I'm a believer in alternative benefits of the same stuff i've partied with in my younger years..
I've rarely met a stoner who is a threat to his fellow man, I am down with hippie-ism
I guess like Holland and most of the EU, I draw a line between hard and soft drugs.

Back in the '80s, peer pressure led me to try meth a few times. I thought it sucked...I felt like I tried to get high on Drain-O.
