Have a few things I want to get from RimmerBros. I'm waiting to see if it dips lower at all. Not a bad time to buy an Ex-Mod or RoW Defender.

Just saw that the PM resigned as well? Guess I really don't have a clue about international politics

This brief article in the Washington Post makes me wonder if there is going to be a wave of buyer's remorse once the realities of the decision sink in. Most of us Brits are astonishingly poorly informed to make a well-reasoned decision of this magnitude.

God bless the Shires. I wouldn't have thought it possible what with a remain lock in Scotland, London, Manchester and 75% of the 18-24 crowd. Yet they did it. Congratulations to the English on their Indepence Day. May you regain your former glory.

Bond markets went full retard today. Craziest Friday of my career. Now we will see how far the EU will go to punish the UK to send a message to France and the Netherlands. Monday is going to be a three ring circus.

What's to be gained by leaving the EU?

For one thing, out of the EU means out of the Schengen zone, which is a fairly big and timely deal right now when you consider the ever increasing numbers of Merkel Youth and the state of Calais (not to mention the state of Rotherham). Further, the British will now determine for themselves, for example, what types of heirloom seeds may be sold at market as opposed to those decisions being made in Brussells or Stasbourg. If the British play their cards right (a big "if"), they may position themselves as a tax and regulatory haven anchored right off the coast of Europe and become a capital magnet. They might actually produce again. London, already largely unfettered and the financial capital of Europe could go into hyperdrive.

However, there will be a lot of hard work ahead in terms of renegotiating trade treaties around the world. And it remains to be seen how far the EU will go to punish the UK to make a point to France (where the EU is even less popular than it is in the UK, and a referendum seems forthcoming) and the Netherlands.

What is the benefit to stay.

I'm glade to see them leave. Being in control of your future is a good thing; there are groups of people all over the world (including inside the US) who would love to be in control without someone far away (physically or culturally) telling them what to do.

There is a price for freedom. I would venture to say most would think it is worth the cost.

This is why I hate the media and why Trump is resonating with so many. Our media is ass backwards. The story below states otherwise. Just 1000 people searched the EU within the UK that day. Keep in mind, a good portion of that 1000 may not have been able to even cast of vote.

Thank you. The Washington Post, NPR, and the 100 or so of my friends who gleefully reposted that crap need to be publicly whipped.
