What can I say... I know a guy who likely spent more than that on his 110 (it may be titled as a 2006, though).
And I met a guy who owned an XJ220 with California plates.

I didn't know that 2010 110's used a galvanized 109 chassis.

Sad part is he'll probably get close to that out of it...

I submitted a "best offer" bid for $20. This is the message eBay gave me:

Your best offer price is 100% less than the advertised price and is likely to be rejected. Please consider revising your offer.

At 120 grand, I'll have an Icon, but I'd give him a black eye and a broken leg for that 110. I don't think he'd appreciate it, though.

Cheers,

Kennith

... rather, an Icon AND a G55.
Or TWO 2-year-old G55s...
Or THREE 2-year-old supercharged Range Rovers...

... down the slippery slope we go...

Or 12 nice and shiny, nicely-restored FJ40s
Or 120 beat-to-shit, surfer dude-owned, overheating-before-even-started, rusted-to-pieces Classics...

Some poor sad destitute out-of-work NBA or NFL player will buy it. They have the time at the moment even though they may be on food stamps shortly.

With that kind of money, I can ship 2 brand new D90 from here, and you can get hold of 2 old defenders, swap the vins for both sell one off, properly the one you kept will be free then.

According to member on d90 source.... NHSTA is looking for the guy to seize it. So, its not going to sell. And, if it did, the new owner will be losing his newly acquired 110 in short order.

Im not familiar with importing these, but my guess is that the restamping of a 1972 VIN on a new galvanized chassis or the fact that it is actually a 2010 and the feds are catching on is the problem.

I wonder if that member didn't rat him out???

Whether he did or didnt is somewhat irrelevant because if he didnt, someone else would. I know of this happening to another guy.

My belief would be no, because it would hurt his chances of doing the same, and making a lot of money.

The problem is that the feds are catching on to what is happening.

Personally, I wouldnt put them on ebay.
