I don't think that is accurate, I routinely get over 16 and sometimes touch 18. Street tires and stock truck etc. which is what they tested I guess. With a bad MAF (way rich) and lots of city it was down in the 12-14's.

I know my 95 ranger 4.0 got much better than they are fronting. 15-20 my ass, If I got lower than 20 in that I was pulling a trailer or someone stealing gas.

Seems cocked to me.

Yes...that's kinda mean.....worse still is apparently my 85 Saab 900T now is only good for 19mpg average. I've owned it for 14 years and never ever got less then 26mpg out of it...it even manages 32 on a highway run. Likewise my other Subaru is only good for 21mpg.....never seen less than 26 out of that either. Their new testers must be wearing lead boots and be driving with the brakes on!
