Oh no you've opened up an entire shit stream coming your way from the Dweb.

Mines been bypassed for years. Most other Rover drivers know this and stay at least a thousand feet away.

Fitting post number 911

You could just use a little piece of C4 explosive in the line....

I am not sure of the size dude, but i know that people on here are gonna give you a hard time... I bypassed mine for quite a while with no ill effects...and actually it had one good effect, it didn't spew coolant all over my driveway!

you guys are right, the rover engineers threw this bit in for fun

its not needed, throttle bodies could never ice up..

when you're at 12,000 feet and your headed down a hill, I hope I am not in front of your rig..

my 2 cents

Jesus! Not again. Wait for the kit and do it right. See how many of these guys who by-passed their's shows up at your trial for modifying your vehicle and killing someone. Think it couldn't happen? Roll the dice and you could be the lucky winner!

You can just modified in any of the ways above, but i think fixing it with the kit is the best, however the kit is on back order for land rover nation wide,.....so if ur dealership doesnt have it start sourcing it out from someplace else

The tb bypass crap is like a zombie ...can't kill it. I bypassed mine a while ago and I can keep up with all the runaway Prius's now. How do you spell Prius in the plural? Anyhow, using an infrared thermometer, the tb temp dropped 30 0r 50 degrees (having a senior moment) but I posted the results a few months back. I know that engine designers would kill for an inlet temp drop like that (think intercooler). I am now getting 40 mpg and top speed has increased to 150 mph ... take that Prius. Ok, I was talking shit in the previous sentence. Anyhow, no issues yet (SoCal), have been up to 7200 ft and down to 10 degrees in the mountains ... not a real test yet ... but I am headed to Mt Everest, or Nepal, or that Icelandic Volcano maybe all 3 tomorrow.
