Bumper shipped yesterday and I asked for many mods....you know where that goes

Cant wait to see it. Also, off the point but, Steve kicks butt over there, one of the best people I have ever done business with, along with the guys at EE as well

If my stock a bar and bumper sell, consider another donation sent! :patriot:

Just chipped in a few bucks. I'm new to LRs but I can tell this community is worth it. Beats the hell out of work anyway.

Garwood!! How come I never saw any sweet rovers in the 20+ years I lived in Union County!?

$20 sent. And DiscoWeb sticker properly placed on my Discovery.

My ex-wife asked about my new-found interest in dancing. :ack:

Update: The new server has arrived at my house. It's a HP Proliant DL120 G5. First order of business is to add 6GB of memory to the 2GB it came with, then istall the OS (Windows webserver 2008), get the latest version of MySQL, PhP and Vbulletin installed, and then migrate the site from the old box to the new. I will probably redo some areas of the site before I bring it to the datacenter, too.

There will be some outages when everything has been migrated and the box is on it's way to Virginia, but I will make announcements ahead of those scheduled outages with an announcements page at the Dweb home page.

Again, Ho and I would like to say thanks to everyone who donated and made this happen. Without you we could not have done it, and we would be without the site for good when the old server finally decided not to let itself be restarted again after it's last crash.

I don't have an excat ETA on when the new server will be in place, I want to make sure everything is set up properly and is working before I take it down to the VA datacenter.

We use those. Nice machines.
We run a raid setup obviously, but we also keep a "recovery" drive. One of the drives that's left unmounted. It has Ghost images of the logical drives and every night we run a job to mount the recovery drive, back up all new data for the day, then unmount it. If the OS get's utterly hosed it's about 15 min to boot from a CD and have a "new" machine going again. The G5's ghost pretty damn fast.
And the hard drives are just so cute. LOL
