tips for trans mount removal

I replaced the motor mounts on my 96 DI a while back and they were pretty easy. I have new trans mounts as well but I gave up on them - the threads are rusted real good and there is very limited access for a wrench.

Any tips on removing these? I considered removing the mounting brackets from the frame and trans but did not try yet because that looked like a real PITA. Air chisel might be an option, anything a little more elegant than that? I'd rather not torch them because a) I don't have a torch and b) I'd rather not screw up the brackets.

I had to remove the frame side mount, then the xfer case side mount and then take it apart on the bench and the I had to put it back in order, doing the frame side last. It took me several tries to figure out how to do it easily, but it all had to come out for me
I found the stubby box/ratchet wrenches worked well.
