I thought it would be cool to have a tire on the hood of my disco 2 just like the series land rovers do. Does anybody know where I can get a hood mount? Do you think that it would look cool?

How tall are you?stu454 said:Forward visibility kind of sucks in a Disco anyhow.
I like the idea but I just don't think that it would work.
I'm 5'7. Don't make fun of me, lol. And I'm 16p m said:How tall are you?
I've never had issues with forward visibility in a Disco (Situations like this excluded).
I thought of putting a spare tire on the hood; I can relate to 235 being borderline, and 265 - prohibitively thick. OTOH, since 95% of lifted Discos on oversized tires I see around have stock-sized spare, why not... I'd rather have two jerry cans on the rear door and spare tire on the hood.

Thank you for this. I especially like it when they spell "tyre".p m said:Looks stupid?
No more than Americans using British automotive terms or calling their trucks "Landies."
