Okay........... so I froze a turkey in the deep freeze on 2/1/07...........I want to thaw it out and eat it, but the wife is hesitant. What do you guys think?

We didn't miss it.......we bought two turkeys because they were on sale. So much for "saving" money. Okay, now who has the most interesting use for a 16 pound frozen turkey???

Unless it was frozen in a block of ice, it's going to have a serious case of freezer burn.
I've had fish frozen in buckets of water that are over two years old, taste just fine.

Make a turkey cannon out of pvc pipe, then shoot it. After you'll have a trailer park snorkle setup.
It's nothing that 325? peanut oil won't fix.

Eat it! I've eaten all manner of food that was frozen for longer than folks thought it should have been. Occasionally, I've been surprised at how tasty it was.
