I am 99.9% certain that the rear shaft will fit.

I am 99.9% sure front ones are different lengths.
Front shaft on BW is longer than the LT-230 front DS?

My question: Is the 94-95 Discovery auto trans able to handle more torque than the RRC version?? My 4.6 is a scary toque monster.

I thought that as long as the xfer case was from an RRC, the drive shafts are the same whether it is the BW or the LT-230 (I'll be doing the swap on my '90 RRC).

No, LT230 shafts are different in front than borg warner. A disco I shaft will bolt onto an 87-88 RRC and vice versa, but not onto an 89-95 RRC.

Transmission should be fine. The only transmission that are better than others are the ones out of LWBs, they were ZF hp22hd or something like that.

Your BW front shaft will be about 2" (+/- cause you have a custom shaft) too short (you need a Disco front shaft). But you might be able to have the guys that made it add 2" for not all that much $$

my front shaft will extend and contract in the middle will that make up for it

Don't bet on it. The last thing you want is for the driveshaft to separate at the spline joint.

Also, whenever anyone contemplates a tranny swap, I always strongly suggest that they get all of the hardware from the donor from the crankshaft to the driveshafts. There were some variations in torque converters and crankshaft adapters and it is far easier to do the swap if you get it all the first time around, this has caused me much stress in the past.
