Get fucked. That's just ignorant as hell. We have never seen anybody begging on this site before. Can't fucking believe this shit is still here and been here for a couple hours.

Oh, no. Leave it up and let the fun begin!

This could be gold.

Half the rigs on here aren't even worth 6k and you expect us to foot the repair bill 2/3 the value of your LR3? Fuck off. I do have to ask, are you related to Ross Boss?

We tried to help this dipshit and he wasn't doing anything I was telling him to do. Kept just regurgitating the same useless information . Had no fucking brake switch related codes but went out and got a switch anyway. We tell him to check the fluid level and instead he sucks fluid out of the thing. Somehow adds fluid back into it. Then comes around and want us to help him overpay some asshole to rebuild the trans.
Puts up a go fund me account with a picture of his cute little poor me family. What a pathetic piece of shit this guy is.

That's right. The most I have done is post up how I want to trade stuff to get parts for my rover to get it up and running. Once I get the parts I have always done the labor myself.

Alright guys! Who wants to chip in a little of those tax returns?? http://www.gofundme.com/repaircosts

WTF? When did our society get to the point were we start a go fund me account every time we get in over our head financially. If you can't afford to own and maintain a Rover don't fucking buy one. End of story...

This reminds me of that fucking tosser, back in '02 or '03. That busted up his Freelander following Steve Young at MAR and then started a website to raise the $8,500 for out of warranty repairs because he didn't know his "Land Rover" was not able to take the the abuse he put it through.

What are the perks you're offering to donors? Isn't that how crowdfunding works, you offer something to reward the people who are making cash contributions? I'll chip in $100 towards the rebuild if I get one day of driving your LR3 in Moab after the transmission is fixed.

The other thing about that whole quote is the valve body and the converter. I know some guys like to put converters in all the transmissions they do. I only put them in when the thing has metal thru out. I have done a shit ton of trans rebuilds back in my general motors days and have never had an issue from that. The valve body is probably ok too. then you could avoid the 2 hours the ass hat wants for programming the thing. Why 2 fucking hours to program a module?

Get a loan from the bank or something, no free lunch in this world, especially in terms of your own financial responsibility.

Why 2 fucking hours to program a module?

That ain't shit.

I'm parting out a BMW off and on lately, and the buyer of the DVD NAV CCC or whatever the fuck it's called unit ran into problems programming it at the dealer.

Naturally, I called the dealer in his area to see if the car was indeed there, and what was going on. Apparently, one update can take well over an hour, and they were trying the latest update. Problem is, you have to apply all the updates in order, and from what I gather on the net, it could have been a ten hour job. :ack:

I just took the return. Fuck it. When I get it back I'll either sell it with the iDrive controller in tow so it just works, or just mandate it goes to a person with the exact same year car. Not worth the headache. There's plenty more value here.

Cheers,

Kennith

What are you, a panhandler?

I love panhandlers. They have such great pitches, and you can really have fun with them.

We have some pretty darn aggressive beggars here, and there's nothing more entertaining than picking them up and driving them to the Target parking lot when the college buses at the nearby town drop all the little pre-yuppies off for their shopping.

One guy has a pitch that puts them right pale in the face, and another claims to have some holy relic in an electrical box hanging around his neck. There's also a woman who's spent the past ten years looking for the same church, and a couple that's been out of gas for half a decade.

I drop them right in the thick of the crowd, sit back, and watch the show.

Cheers,
