Trayvon, Zimmerman...Enough already

See, here is the thing. Oftentimes, certain people do things that point to their future intended actions (i.e. casing, target surveillance, etc.) but if caught in the act, and the racial card is used, the same people oftentimes plead ignorance and state it is their simple right to be in a particular area, on any given day, and at any given time. Those of us who have been around and who understand how things work, can see the ramifications of their actions, if unaddressed from a mile away, however the general public cries foul and interjects before the intended/planned for crime or incident actually happens. Some of us know the indicators of what's about to go down, but since they are at times hard to fathom for the braindead public, they get ignored and are judged as mere stereotypes and so on. Case in point, my parents live in NYC, in a townhouse. It is part of a row of about 12-15 townhouses with backyards and a common resident-only driveway backing to a concrete embankment. There have been known thefts in the area and it is understood that those sloooowly walking through the alley, oftentimes smoking 'something' are not just cutting through, going to Sunday school. So, if I am the home owner in that area, I have a reason to suspect people who leisurely stroll through the alley, of potential wrongdoings. Now, if I am the one to confront such an individual and ask him/her as to their purpose in the area, and if shit goes south, I am the one who gets blaimed for excessive force, racial profiling, etc. etc. See my point here?

She needed to think about what she was saying before she opened her mouth and proved she was an idiot.

Well, to be fair, you're meant to set preconceptions and feelings aside. That's why a trial is supposed to be a reasonably controlled affair, and why a jury is insulated.

A trial is a debate, and there is no room in debate for belief that's not established among all parties as reasonable and relevant foundation before commencement.

Cheers,

Is that moronic juror a black Hispanic, white Hispanic, or just Hispanic? It's all so confusing nowadays.

Hmmm... not sure that I understand what you mean Kennith. Maybe I am wrong, but it seems like he "got away" with killing someone not murder. It seems like B29 equates killing with murder and if you kill someone, even if in defense, then you have to answer to "God".

"George Zimmerman got away with murder, but you can't get away from God. And at the end of the day, he's going to have a lot of questions and answers he has to deal with," Maddy said. "[But] the law couldn't prove it."

I do not understand her reasons for coming out and claiming that she wished to convict him of murder but they could not prove it. Duh. That's the way it works dork.

I think she wants attention, but at least she points out the obvious that potentially other idiots might understand... or not.

"That's where I felt confused, where if a person kills someone, then you get charged for it," Maddy said. "But as the law was read to me, if you have no proof that he killed him intentionally, you can't say he's guilty."
Duh.

"As much as we were trying to find this man guilty…they give you a booklet that basically tells you the truth, and the truth is that there was nothing that we could do about it," she said. "I feel the verdict was already told."

No shit. Yeah, they usually give you a booklet on the various laws that apply to the case. But it is not "the truth". Its the laws and how to interpret them and the evidence.

I find it interesting that meticulously categorizing people by qualification of race, bloodline, class, and loyalty doesn't seem to bother people at all. Indeed, they welcome it.

I seem to recall that same invitation having been present in history somewhere. Something to do with very cool uniforms and outstandingly orchestrated parades...

Rich people aren't doing their part. It's ALL the fault of someone else. Those below us do nothing! Those above us are our oppressors! I know this because you've told me. Life was horrible yesterday!

Leadership will be our salvation!

GLORY TO THE MIDDLE CLASS!

Yeah. That rings a bell.

Calling this person smart is a slap in the face to my 6 week old puppy. She is only regurgitating what she heard on the news no original thought of her own. Sorry had to add she was the star witness! This should have never gone to trial period.

The only minority on the all-female jury that voted to acquit*George Zimmerman*said today that Zimmerman "got away with murder" for killing Trayvon Martin and feels she owes an apology Martin's parents.

Guessing black.

an armed society is a polite society.

Exactly, Robert A. Heinlein author has some very great quotes. Here is the full version.

“An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.”

Robert A. Heinlein great author.
