I noticed since I got my Rover Back on the road that my Turn signals and the indicator in the dash blink fast . All the T/S light work and both sides blink equally as fast and are the same brightness.

They only blink fast with the turn signals, when I use the Hazards they blink normally.

I check my T/S lights 2 in the front side ones on the fenders and the 2 in the bumpers.

I have a trailer connector on the bumper but it looks like its was never used.

Fuse is the proper size aswell

Any info would be great

just change the blinker bulbs on that side, it should stop that.

both sides flash at the same fast pace when I try the left or the right . they are the same brightness and all of the lights are working properly.

When the hazards are on they flash at a normal pace.

I was told that the turn signal flasher may be the wrong one and that the T/S and the Haz have there own flasher .

I guess I will run out the the parts store and see if they have one for it

Sounds like one of the bulbs is not getting the proper ground it needs. It thinks you have a bulb burnt out.

but if a light wasn't getting the proper ground I would assume that it wouldnt be a bright as the rest of them . I have a fluke mulit meter but its at the shop.

I will check all the grounds for the lights once its daylight

Some of your bulbs may not be the right wattage. If there is not enough resistance they will blink fast.

Do discos use a traditional flasher module? I want to put cheap LED lights in the bumper and that makes it blink fast. I've never seen anything that looks like a flasher module while digging around the rover, that would make it too easy to fix problems like this.

Would the Owners manual have the info of what bulbs are used ?? I only replaced one buld since I had it and It was a PS brake light in the above the rear bumper and they blinked fast then as well

i found in the manual where it shows you the wattages volts. 3 of the ts bulbs are 12v but it dont show a wattage so I will replace them to be safe. The side ones on teh fender by the front doors I assume are 194 style bulbs. I tried to remove the assemby off the fender but was unsure of the removal processs . I didnt know if they pry off or you have to twist them . I was unsucessful with both and didnt wanna use to much force and break them

If you want to run LEDs you need to install an "load equalizer" in the circuit. They are designed specifically for LED conversions. Do a Google search for "load equalizer" or you might be able to pick one up at an auto parts place.

load equalizer? all you need is a resistor.... or a flasher module for trailer use if the vehicle uses them.
