For sale-Upper Taillight guards for a 1999-2002 D2. These ARE the metal ones! Come with all screws, parts ect. They are in good used shape and have no dings/dents that I am able to find. Here are a few links below for your reference:

Description: Discovery II Genuine Lamp Guards

Stylish and functional, these integrated guards are designed to protect the tail lamps and rear bumper lights from branches or other mishaps. The seat directly against the lamp's surface for a clean appearance and are made of an powder coated steel.

I ship FedEx Ground. I take PayPal. Please make a reasonable offer (No sob stories about dying mother in law, or starving children)! ;) Thank you in advance! Donation is ALWAYS made to DWeb when an item is sold! PM is best please or email roverchic@cox(dot)net

i wish you would have put this up a month ago... haha but oh well

Story of my life Kiddo! ;)

Basically I ordered a set of the G4 lamp guards (bottom and uppers) I put the uppers on the 2001 D2 and the lowers on the 2002 D2. The metal are nicer in my opinion because they are more firm/sturdy however they do stick out just a bit.

I might ship them USPS Priority Mail because FedEx has been taking a week to deliver whereas USPS is about 2-3 days max!

Hi RoverChic,

You have a PM.

Mark

OK here is the dealio....I will take 75 + 10 shipping. They are going FEDEX b/c USPS wants 15 bucks to ship them b/c of their weight (I Use Delivery Confirmation + Insurance). The screws have some very minor rust, in addition to the holes where the screws go. It is very minor, if you are up close and personal this is noticable; otherwise they are in good shape. If you need pics, send a PM please. Otherwise first person to paypal gets them! :) :D Thanks DWeb!

Will these fit a 1992 Hyundai Elantra??? If so I will take em.

Yes they will (with some bending but I have a welder to make it work)...Do you want me to hand deliver them to save on shipping charges? I don't mind driving the 1000 miles to save you $10! You can just have them for free..and I can install them (no charge). I am sending a "portfolio" of images of the guards for you to review.

RoverChic...

THANKS

I cant wait for the pics.
Please send me an email anyway because I do have a pic or two for you.

Could you find an 92 Elantra in your area and install them to insure they fit properly...Also please take pics before and after fabrication and pic of owner of Elantra before and after ... make sure you dont tell them prior to installation...I would like to get a true look at how the modification makes them feel to help me with my buying decision.

CAN YOU THROW IN THE REAR CLIP OF THE VEHICLE THESE ARE FROM???? Also when you say firm...do you mean as firm as Three's Company star Suzanne Somers right after a THIGHMASTER daily routine or is there room for negotiation??
with all this in consideration I offer you 15.00................shipped. I saw these on ebay last month for half of that with free shipping, a 4.6 newly rebuilt block, 18" wheels and roof rack included.

Please send you paypal info when you get a chance,, I will send payment immediately within the next 3-7 days and when you are least expecting it.... turn around less than 24hrs later send you pm's, emails and call asking where they are and if I can get a tracking number. :)

You can never have to much protection for your back end.... I just hope yours isn't vulnerable with the removal of the guards Roverchic. You never know when someone might tap you from the back or you might back into the bush and cause some damage.
