So is there going to be a 2013 event? I don't see a site for Old North State Rover Owners Society and there isn't anything on the CROC site.

As Matt said they are not affiliated with CROC. They are more like the Anti CROC. :D

Anyway, Old North State moved their site to Facebook. You can search for them there. URE is the weekend of Oct 18th this year.

The event is indeed happening and as Tobias said it is the 18th of October. Registration is not open yet, but will be in September. the URE!10 site is onslrs.org but we post most info on facebook

I will create a new posting here and other forums with event details in September as well as email blasts. Please drop me an email at oldnorthstate@gmail.com to be put on our mailing list.

BTW, we are not anti CROC :patriot:

Thanks for the info fellas. I refuse to be on facebook, so I miss a few things here and there.
Looking forward to the event,

on the onslrs.org it says the campground fee is $25. Is that per person, or per vehicle?
Does the club prefer people to join the club and pay the club dues? or just register for the event?

get on facebook, easier to find out about stuff there.

Just don't be friends with anyone that isn't rover related. That's pretty much what I've done.

Also, I'm friends with my mom as to not hurt her feelings.

Part 1 of question:

The fee is per vehicle or family.

Examples:

- You, your wife and 2 kids, 1 vehicle: $25.
- You, your 2 buddies, 1 vehicle: $25.
- You, your dog, your Rover, your buddy his cat and his Jeep: 2 registrations: $50

Part 2 of question:

- Membership dues are $25. That gets you free admittance to URE!10.
- URE!10 registration is $25. That gets you free membership.

Hope this helps.

Sounds good. Count me in and I'll probably even spring for a shirt.
Hopefully I will have a few buddies with me and at least 3 trucks (2 rovers and a jeep)
I will be sure to do a registration for all vehicles.

Can we also get an extra tub of chicken this year? I didn't get enough diarrhea last year and I think it was due to less chicken than biscuits.

I typically go 3 parts yardbird to one part biscuit. But last year it was more like 2 part cluck to 1 part biscuit.

What would be unbelievable is if we could collect funds to get a Biscuitville run for Saturday morning or convince Corey to bring a big enough iron skillet to make a shitload of biscuits!
