What value would you put on a '94 D90 with 36,000 miles?

Red, bone stock, absolute mint condition, always garaged, no rust, original BFG MT's that look new - was someone's seldom used vacation vehicle. It's an auto trans I think.

Has a few minor drips here and there but will all be taken care of by qualified Rover mechanics before sale.

One catch - the original owner lost the title so the new owner (my Rover mechanic shop) will have to get a duplicate title (from NY or MA I think).

94 was a 5speed. so, assuming it is an auto and is a NAS d90, it was converted. hopefully it was done correctly which would include the correct center console. there are some hack jobs out there. check on d-90 source for more info. assuming clean title and history, minimal rust at most, $30-50k.

I would say between 34-40k realistically

In the UK, it would be worth $1500-2500ukp. Over here it should only be worth $5-7k. Probably worth $35k. If you get it, you better give me a ride in it! :D

Stupid money for a truck with open diffs. Why LR never addressed that issue is beyond me. You won't find too many in that condition with those few miles any more. If you buy it you should put it on blocks and only drive it in parades. If you want something to wheel, buy something else.

If you have 30+ to spend on a defender then you really aren't hurting for money so whats it matter? Even if I had 30k I'd never miss I wouldn't spend it on a defender, even though I really want one.

I had a client sell one with 12K miles on it.

He got enough to pay for his two kids to go to a state college for two years. Copley didn't offer him enough and he basically told the guy who'd flown in to look at it that he could walk back to the airport.

I don't think they are as attractive now that the non-NAS trucks are being imported.
