This Old Thread (that could be a youtoob show) is ever more relevant with age.
Is there a consensus on what brand, type, style, configuration, material is working the best these days, for valve covers? I need to change mine out again (has it been 10 years already?) I see a felpro link up there, and a mention of the cheapness of Victor Reinz (a Spicer part number 71-35524-10, btw, e.g.
https://www.danaaftermarket.com/search?cat1=LVB&y=1995&mk=Land Rover&md=Discovery&ymmType=AUTO) gaskets. That surprises me; I'd think dana/spicer makes decent stuff. Anyways.. I am really looking for recent experience with any particular brands and combinations (sealer, anti-crush inserts, etc) and links to where they can be found
For me, this is for my 1995 Disco1 NAS 3.9 14cux R380 wagon.
