syoung said:Weren't there some domestic cars that had a rubber dizzy cover that would fit on a Disco? I thought I remembered someone posting about that- and I know I've seen rubber covers on some kinda car... either a mopar or ford with the dizzy up front.

I have the same problem with my 92 RRC. The main problem is the vent holes on the underside of the distributor. You cannot seal the because the unit needs to breath.

This leads me to believe the water may come in through the bottom. I doubt the coil would be affected by water being splashed on it.
