couldn't make it out Saturday. I was installing a snorkel that I didn't finish until late Saturday afternoon. looks like a good time from the pictures. I went out today, lost my grille, right headlight, and right blinker in a nasty hole. Got stuck for about an half hour, when I got out had no streering. had to remove the streering stablizer shock. Amazingly drove it home. will fix this week.

Rovingclowns:

Any idea when you guys are going out again? Let me know.

With all due respect to Gordie and Christine they were not the only ones that helped you out of that pit. Dave, you did not bother to thank us that day and did not in your last post. I did not want to bad mouth someone on this forum (kinda gay), but that is just bad etiquette. I figure Saturday you were just bent out of shape about destroying your rear, but now it looks like you are just rude. You can throw all the money in the world at your truck but you will still get stuck and need a hand sometimes. Just a simple thanks would have sufficed. After you bad mouthed my friend's truck and he was no more than 5' away, he still helped you. It's a Rubicon - all it needs is a lift and tires. Sure its a ton lighter and has trouble pulling our beasts out of that slop, but it did.

I apologize for this public outburst but this has been on my mind all week. I hope this doesn't get me uninvited from the next outing, but it is what it is.

i'm hoping to see u folks on the trials again when we go?
yes i know,u were all over the back of the disco like a monkey with the tow straps and Dave with the winching out of the hole i fell into,i would like to thank you guys as well.for all the help.getting us back to dry land and out of the mess.
this is just one more lesson in life for me.

Hey Dave
Was that your Disco at the rangers station? I saw it there yesterday and today. They normally tow the vehicles out of there, you got really lucky.

Oh ok there was a Disco at the Atison Rangers station from the 8th to the 12th. Mine limped home on the 8th. I put it back together frankenstein style.
