Huh? Is this a rip-off of Solihull Society's LRNR? Why would they choose this name?

Its just another rally to give alternatives, esp if dates collide with other events you couldn't attend.
I don't think anyone is questioning "why have the event?", they're questioning "why is it called a National Rally when there's already a National Rally?".

For the past couple years I organize a Rally in the Midwest and I never dreamed of calling it a National Rally.
a) I don't really expect people from around the country to come see the awesomeness of Indiana
b) There is already a National Rally

Calling this event a National Rally seems like it is stepping on the Solihull Society's toes and not creating a friendly atmosphere which I thought was the whole point of a Rally?

The ego's of those organizing it are the reason why it's being called what it is…

I can't get over the name of this stupid rally. Who thought that this was a good idea? There's nothing wrong with the event per se, but to blatantly rip off the name of a successful and long-running rally is just pathetic and speaks loads about the people organizing this.

Bingo. I got my email update about this event the other day. At least they've got a tacticool raffle truck. :ack:
