I forgot to report back on the Laphroaig Cask Strength.

All I can say is it is the most challenging whisky I have ever had the pleasure to drink. At 55.7% alcohol it packs an amazing punch but all the while you still get all the greatness of the peat, seaweed, salt water, iodine. Non chil filtered, it is as close to straight from the cask as you're going to get without visiting Islay. It's all the flavor that makes the regular 10YO so special and a whole lot more. It my new favorite (even more so than the Quarter Cask).

Best to keep your mouth open while taking in the bouquet lest the alcohol overwhelm your senses
