I'm converting over a Bosch 4.0 to use in a 92 RRC, a-side from having to change the intake, front cover, valve covers, cam, adding a dizzy, flywheel/flexplate - I've searched all that stuff and I think I have it down, but.................
Can I reuse the alloy sump from the bosch 4.0? Some have spoke of clearance issues, but I can't really see them? Will it bolt up to the older tranny?
Also are the exhaust manifolds the same between the 4.0 bosch and the older trucks? I hate to pull them and replace with mine if I don't have to.
