What go here on the intake plenum?

I have a 96 Disco. Please look at the attached photo.

On the intake Plenum there is a place where a hole appears to have been filled with epoxy. I believe that a hose nipple went in this hole, but I don't know what hose may have connected to the nipple.

Can someone please let me know what this is.

I think my 94 has a vac line there for the pcv system.

I just got back from popping the hood on my '96 se 7, and there is nothing there, but this machined plug, so I would not worry too much. Ron

I have a plenum off a 96 Disco SD and it as a tube comeing out for vac. I do not recall the Disco being plugged off like that....on 96 and newer.

I think that I'm feeling better about this...

Thank you to every one who replied.

I think that I'm starting to believe that this hole being plugged is o.k. for my 96 Disco with out the advanced evap system.
