I hate to say it, but pulling the original thread only seemed to create more interest.
The thread was still active when I clocked out last night and I didn't see anything that would have caused it to get yanked. At least nothing as disturbing as finding out one of your fellow dweb'ers has a picture of Burt Reynolds on a bear rug in his collection.
It's pretty funny that all this got going over the price of 3 tanks of gas. True, it is the principle, but if it were me I probably would have taken it as a lesson learned and move on. Unless there was something else expected besides $125, then the story changes completely. Anyway, that whole deal makes for a great story around some dweb campfire...
At this point, I'd have to respect RoverChic more for staying away: this one is way beyond the point of saving face. (EDIT: Ok, she just spoke up. I was wrong about saving face. Good for you, Rover Chic.)
And speaking of stories, what is the deal with the GWagen chic? There are pictures floating about???
