A spare engine out of a P38.

X2, and one of those awesome sets of TV repairman tools.

In all seriousness, look for an owner that has all the records if possible, If the heads have been done so much the better.

The only thing I've had to do on mine is remember to keep the sunroofs closed, and I had to replace the brake control block thing to get rid of the three amigos. Check to see that this has been done since there was a problem with them early on, and they were often replaced with updated units by the dealer. But it is an $800 part, so it is worth checking on.

The dealer did change the head gasket for me at 90k.

Mine has 110k miles on it.

Check for the CDL nipple. An 01 with an early build date should have it.

My 01 has an April manufactured date and It did NOT have a the CDL nipple.
I ended up replacing the whole TC to get it!
