What's the difference between trim packages?

I've had my '99 D1 SD for several months now, and it's got everything I care to have but I'm just curious what the differences are between trim packages. I assume the "7" as in SD7 would be for seven passenger, but other than that I don't know.

Thanks,
Pete

1999 Series 1 only had SD. My wife has a SD with 7 seat option and it is just "SD" on the side. 1998 have SE, LE, and SD with the 7 added if it was a 7 seater.

I know it's kind of a lame topic, but like I said I'm just curious. I'm not a big fan of chrome (I used to summers work at a plating company), so glad mine doesn't have it. What kind of spare cover came on the '99 D1s? Did they have the full fabric cover or just that plastic wheel cover thing?

It also had an upgraded suspension... supposedly though it still drove like a tank. Also a different radio. It also had more wood trim and piping on the map pockets.

Don't forget the chrome door sills that said "LAND ROVER"
