Thanx for making me feel even older! I didn't realize I was probably ten years older than even you.

Why does everyone think I'm old? That's the first thing Ho & John Lee said when I drove up to the group at Truckhaven....."Wow, Blue, we expected some old guy...."

I'm still a young buck! And I like the gray hair, it makes me look distinguished.

A suzuki? Maybe Ibex? that is also a Jeep that competed in the Camel Trophy....hells yea!

Jeep was used in only one Camel Trophy - the first - in 1980. All three teams were from West Germany in an event held in the Amazon. In an effort to carry more spare tires, the competitors bolted them to the hood after the fashion of Land-Rover. Hoods buckled, carbs were crushed and batteries shorted out. It wasn't pretty and I don't think they actually reach "the end" before the event was stopped. The vehicles were so heavily damaged that Jeep was never used again.

The gray in my hair just makes me look old, but I did earn every single one of them-most at Dead shows!

Before I got sick last October, I still felt young, now I don't even have that going for me.

Looks like the rice-racers are now into off-roading. I think he needs a fart-pipe exhaust though to make it complete and a whale-tail spoiler on top, and some BMW louvers on the fenders.

Long Wheel Base Samurai? Didnt know there was such a thing....

plenty of vehicles made for international use that we never see here. after the Consumer Reports debacle which made Suzuki stop selling the Sami in the U.S., they still made them for the international market.
