Where does this go?

After my complete engine rebuild on my 95 RRC, I managed to hook everything up right, with the exception of this one hose. Can anyone pop the hood of their truck and tell me where it goes? It's driving me crazy.

Heater valve. It's the vacuum actuator for the heater hose valve.

C'mawn Dan. Unless the heater is calling for heat, that hose is closed off from engine vacuum.

It's the vacuum hose that controls your water valve.
Should connect on the back of your water valve (the round black thing on the very right hand edge of your picture).

No, it goes to the heater hose control valve, not water valve... :bnaghead:

I stand corrected! My desire to try to maintain my level of understanding and use the same nomenclature as used in the parts catalogs and service manuals forced me to review this procedure.

Wouldn't you know, the valve is referred to as the "Water Valve" in the service manual!
